About Us « Newton Flotman Primary School Gardening Project

The club was started after the headteacher, Mr David Robinson, invited Caroline Wolfe (a parent of two children at the school) to run a regular after-school club as part of the Extended Schools Initiative.

This fortuitously links in with the Royal Horticultural Society’s Campaign for School Gardening, giving us lots of great ideas and access to resources. We are also hoping to benefit from the Morrison’s Let’s Grow voucher scheme.
